Arrows to hit arrows, this mechanic is still v unpolished, it doesn't work pretty often sorry.
Q to dash.
Space to jump.
Deal damage via hitting the arrows at the right times, the key to press the arrow changes every three second, they spin 90* in some direction, not sure which I forgot sorry.
There was gonna be music but I couldn't find a musician or anything that fit the theme + I have no experience implementing audio sooooo
I will say tho, I learned a lot from this.
1)Make sure when bringing people into the team that they don't have commitments that may severely impact their ability to do stuff
2) be prepared for fucks sake, I came into this with a shitty physics system, no experience with rhythm games, no concept art nor idea of how to draw shit. not sure what I was expecting lol
3) Motivation is a fucking bastard. I regret not making a schedule or smth, there were prob 5+ days in which I didn't do shit and 10+ in which i'd spend like 15 mins on it.
4) it's by some fault of myself that this didn't come out good. this was my first major reality check tbh, in my previous 2 jams, i'd spent the entire time working on physics since they take forever to make, I guess that gave me an excuse when I looked at how shit they came out, that i'd been working on stuff that others could just get in seconds with unity or godot, and that by doing it now, I was making things easier for the future. this time tho I came in with semi-ok physics and a full month so I guess I can't blame only having a framework for this one.
5)I can't focus if I have stuff open. everything needs to go and I need to somehow find a way to stay motivated, i have no clue what to do for the motivation bit tho.
